Shipping Costs
Shipping rates are generally calculated on an individual customers orders. Taken into account are,
- order value
- the customers desired shipping optionsand
- the destination country that the order(s) is/are being sent to.
Our Shipping costs are based on the total cost of your order and reflect the cost of insurance, handling and packaging. Where possible we have attmpted to ensure that shipping costs have been maintained at a very resonable level taking into account our insurance, packaging and postage overheads.
On some items, free postage may be available, however please ensure that you select free shipping only where it is applicable.
Selection of the wrong shipping costs will cause a delay in dispatching your goods. We offer a "shipping estimate cost" service that is viewable once items have been added into the shopping cart. This will let you know approx shipping costs before proceeding through to the checkout pages.
Please note (Important) Any Gibson's item(s) especially bagpipes (including small pipes) are dispatched direclty from the USA and may therefore attract addition import tax. The Cost of these items, shown the website "does not" include such costs and as a buyer you are responsible for any such tax over and above the cost of the item price shown on the website. Delivery Periods
Please note that most of our bagpipe products are made to order although we do hold some of our product catalogue is held in stock. If the item that you require is in stock then we will dispatch it within one working day. Orders placed after 4pm (GMT) will normally be processed the following day.
Information of product stock availability is available on every product page. If a delay is expected on any item you have ordered, then you will be advised as soon possible on receipt of your order. Full details of any delay will be explained and should the delay be unacceptable to you will be advised of any available options.
Once dispatched, orders will usually take approx 1-2 days within the UK mainland (additional day may be expected in the highland or Islands) to arrive, 3-6 days in Europe, and 4-8 days the Rest of the World depending on the selected shipping method you have chosen.
These recommended delivery periods may fluctuate as they are influenced by the foreign countries delivery systems. For all special order items including Bagpipes you will be informed of any applicable delays before confirming your order as these items are normally made to order apart from our standard sets.
Our shipping system allows you to view the status of your order 24 x 7. In addition order updates and confirmation dispatch emails are sent out when your order has been shipped.Return Policy
Every product that we sell is carefully inspected before it is packaged and sent. Accordingly all our products carry a guarantee of quality and full refunds or replacements will be given if they are not in the condition as described on our website. Full refunds will also be given on any item where faulty or substandard workmanship is a contributory factor of the quality of the goods.
In addition larger objects such as bagpipes and bags etc, products are usually covered by the manufacturing guarantee. Accordingly should the product become faulty within its guarantee period, you may be asked to send the product back directly to the manufacturer for assessment.
Any damage to items that may have occurred in transit will need to be returned to us in order to assess for damages caused during transit. To qualify for this you must notify us of a fault within 3 working days of receiving your order. All faulty products must be returned to us via a recorded traceable service within 7 days of this notification. Returned orders after this period will not be accepted under our "Return Policy".
Please note all orders returned without notifying us as above will not be accepted. Postal, carriage or other delivery charges for returned items will be the responsibility of the customer. Bagpipes4.me.uk will not accept any liability whatsoever for charges incurred when returning any item previously supplied by us. Replacements for faulty or damaged products will not be dispatched until the original and returned product has been and assessed by the supplier.
Returned products must be in original condition and packaging with the receipt enclosed. We are here to provide you the customer with quality products and services.
We deal with quality products only and if you are not entirely satisfied with any products purchased from us, we will be happy to address your issues on an individual basis.
